23rd December : Safety-First Sinitta Puts On Some Astonishing Headgear To Jet-Ski In The Caribbean With Simon Cowell.
Eighties singer Sinitta and her ex Simon Cowell took to the water again yesterday as they continued their month-long paradise break.

However the cautious 42-year-old seemed determined to protect her assets and sported a rather odd sun visor that circled around her entire head.
While Simon didn't even bother doing up his life-jacket and stood up on the jet-ski, Sinitta made sure she was well buckled up and didn't try anything too risky.
Cowell, 49, is in Barbados for a month with Sinitta and her two children, Magdalena, three, and two-year-old Zac, whom she adopted with husband Andy Wilner last year.
Earlier this month the former couple told Hello! magazine that they planned to spend Christmas together and spoke of their upcoming holiday.
'We're so ready for this now. Simon's been so flat out with work, he's pretty much on his knees. And it's been a difficult and emotional year for me too.
'There's been lots of good stuff too, but it will be nice to be in an environment where the world stops for a few weeks.'

The holiday is the first time Simon and Sinitta have been away together since her marriage.
They will be joined for periods by friends including Paul McKenna and American Idol's Ryan Seacrest.
However Sinitta’s husband will not be joining them. He is spending the festive season with his family and elder children from a former marriage.
The couple are said to be living increasingly separate lives, with Wilner resident in Hong Kong since April  while Sinitta remains in Britain.
Cowell, however, is clearly grateful for the companionship of his former flame, having recently split with girlfriend Terri Seymour.
During their break, Cowell and Sinitta have been lording it up at his luxury Barbados mansion.
The expense of the luxury holiday is just a drop in the ocean for Cowell, who is currently reaping the rewards of this year's Christmas chart-toppers.
Not only is he enjoying the profits of X Factor winner Alexandra Burke's Hallelujah his company also owns the rights to the Jeff Buckley's version and the original by songwriter Leonard Cohen.
Incredibly, all three versions made it into the top 40 this week - Alexandra's sailed in at No 1 while Buckley's made it to number two.
The original 1984 version, by the song's writer Leonard Cohen, re- entered the charts at number 36.

12th December : Bombardier Recreational Products Wins Lawsuit Against SQM Jetpower.
Only months after terminating its business relationship with two major North American BRP dealers and penalizing 17 others from the region, BRP wins a lawsuit to refrain SQM Jetpower (SQM), a UK re-seller, from illegally importing Sea-Doo personal watercraft (PWCs) purchased outside the European Economic Area.
“BRP's position in regards to grey market is not new.
We strongly believe that the way we operate through local distributors or dealers ensures the well-being of our network, protects consumers and maintains our brands”, said BRP’s Vice-President, General Counsel and Secretary, Martin Langelier.
“We have and will continue to take action against those who work outside this legitimate system”, he added.
The judgement rules that SQM will have to pay a significant amount in damages and costs to BRP, and provide details of where it purchased the PWCs and other relevant information.
In the UK, the law prohibits the importation of goods from outside the European Economic Area without the brand owner’s consent.
According to Neil Ackermann, a partner at Hewitsons, a law firm specialising in Intellectual Property:
“The law which prohibits the importation of goods from outside the European Economic Area without the brand owner’s consent is well established and fairly straight forward so it is somewhat surprising that people still take this approach and then resist action being taken against them.
The example we often refer back to in these types of cases is the European Court of Justice ruling in 2001, preventing Tesco from selling imported Levi jeans from the United States.”
Langelier concluded:
“BRP will pursue its efforts to fight against the sale of its products through illegal and illegitimate trade channels.
Anyone who has purchased or is in the process of purchasing a Sea Doo watercraft or any other BRP product from a source suspected of being unauthorized by BRP should contact their local BRP office.”
Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (BRP), a privately-held company, is a world leader in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and marketing of motorised recreational vehicles.
Its portfolio of brands and products includes: Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft and sport boats, Evinrude and Johnson outboard engines, direct injection technologies such as E-TEC, Can-Am all-terrain vehicles and roadsters, as well as Rotax engines and karts.
With manufacturing facilities on three continents, BRP products are distributed in more than 80 countries.

9th December : Wife Of Missing Jetskier Welcomes Foreign Office Help.
The wife of a jetskier who went missing six weeks ago off the coast of Bali yesterday welcomed an offer of help from the Foreign Office.
Jacqui Hoyland believes that her husband Jeremy could still be alive after drifting on to one of the hundreds of uninhabited islands in the region.
Mrs Hoyland and her brother-in-law Nicholas were in London yesterday making an appeal at the Foreign Office to get help in seeking mobile phone records to trace Mr Hoyland's position shortly after he went missing.
From these records, they hope to work out the direction in which he drifted.
Mrs Hoyland, from Penistone, near Barnsley, south Yorkshire, said that after a meeting with Foreign Office minister Bill Rammell she had gained fresh hope.
She said: "Positive things have come out of our meeting with Mr Rammell.
"We have asked him to put pressure on the Indonesian authorities to come forward and help us with Jeremy's positions in the water.
"We hope this information will help us understand where he is.
"It has taken this long for someone with authority to get the ball rolling. These are golden hours."
Mr Hoyland, who is the father of Ellena, 13, and Georgia, 11, has more than 10 years' experience as a jetskier.
The 41-year-old was acting as the race director at the jetski sports event of the Asian Beach Games 2008.
He went missing on October 24, after setting off with four friends on borrowed jetskis for the Nusa Lembongan islet in the Indian Ocean.

9th December : Body Of British Father-Of-Four Found Off Coast Of France After Jet-Skiing Accident.
A father-of-four who went missing after a jet-skiing accident has been found dead.
Michael Hudson, 45, had travelled to Cherbourg on his own for a water sports holiday but was reported missing on November 28.
His battered Yamaha water scooter was found in Bouley Bay, Jersey on December 1.
The body was discovered by coastguards off Baubigny, near the French port of Cherbourg, last Friday.
Michael's wife of ten years, Lisa, 39, is travelling to France to formally identify the body.
They had one son Aston, eight, and Michael had three children from a previous marriage; Perry, 21, James, 16, and Toni, 13.
Mr Hudson's body has not been formally identified but family say he was wearing clothes underneath his wet suit and had his drivers licence and passport in his pocket.
The hire car which Mr Hudson used was also discovered nearby and police described some of his distinctive tattoos.
Pamela Hudson, 64, said her son, who worked as a lorry driver in Redditch, Worcestershire, was a keen jet-skier but had no concept of danger and was worried about him taking to the water at this time of year.
Mrs Hudson, also from Redditch, said: 'His father used to go jet-skiing all the time and that is how Michael first got into it. He really loved it, it was his passion.'
'We always used to tell him never to go out on his own but he was 45-years-old and you can't tell him what to do.
'He was his own person and he just couldn't ever see danger. The sea can be particularly treacherous at this time of year and we were really worried about him going.
'Michael was a truly great guy who was loved very much by everyone who knew him. He was a fantastic father and the perfect son, he never gave us any problems.
'He will be sorely missed by us all.'
Mrs Hudson added: 'Lisa is completely distraught and is struggling to cope with her day to day life.
'Aston is only eight and he doesn't fully understand what has happened.
He keeps asking questions but is far too young to be able to deal with it.'
Mr Hudson's father, Michael, 69 said: 'The details are still a bit sketchy at the moment. The police haven't even called us to give us any information which is very disappointing. He is our son and we should be kept informed.'
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said:
'The body of a man believed to be Michael Hudson has been found off the coast of France.
This follows the discovery of a jet-ski in Jersey which was used by him.'

8th December : Mother’s Heartbreak Over Memorial Arson.
Vandals have tried to burn down a £5,000 memorial to a Benson teenager who died in a jet ski accident.
Yobs were caught by police twice in eight days trying to light kindling around the base of the shelter in the recreation ground.
It was built in memory of Faye Grundy, who died while at her sister Harriet’s birthday party in 1997.
She was riding pillion on a jet ski driven by her uncle, Anthony Gee, when it crossed the line of buoys into the water-skiing area.
Faye was knocked into the water and was run over by one of the water-ski powerboats.
She was fatally injured by the propeller of the powerboat.
Her mother, Mandy Jones, was playing badminton in the parish hall when the vandals struck the first time.
“We noticed police cars and saw some policemen running and then the fire engine turned up,” she said.
“I am so angry. It has been targeted so many times by people
I can only hope they don’t know what it stands for.
These kids must be taking stuff in there to light. I would appeal to them to stop, but I doubt it will make any difference to them.”
Mrs Jones, of Crown Lane, added:
“People from all over the village use the shelter as a nice place to have a rest. It is in a pleasant spot. It was built and paid for by friends of Faye and other people in the village who felt she deserved something long-lasting in her memory.
“It still really upsets me when this happens. I know it isn’t a personal attack on Faye or us, but that doesn’t stop it hurting.”
A parish council spokesman said: “Do these youngsters need naming and shaming? How do we stop this mindless behaviour?”

Cherbourg, France (AFP)
The body of a 45-year-old Briton believed to have been the victim of a jet-ski accident off Jersey was washed up on the French coast 30 kilometres (20 miles) away, police said Saturday.
The body wearing a wetsuit was found Friday on the beach at Baubigny, on Normandy's Cotentin peninsula south of Cherbourg, police said.
"We are working on the principle of the jet-ski accident," a gendarme told AFP. "The inquiry is continuing."
An abandoned jet-ski was found in Jersey, one of the British Channel Islands, earlier in the week, he said.

6th December : Hunt For Missing Man.
By Richard Heath
A missing persons investigation has been launched after a jetski belonging to a man who vanished from his UK home was mysteriously found washed up in Jersey.
The severely damaged blue Yamaha FX cruiser was found in Bouley Bay on Monday – three days after 45-year-old family man Michael Hudson disappeared from his home in Redditch, Worcestershire.
Police today said that they do not know how the machine got to Jersey or whether Mr Hudson had landed the jetski or suffered an accident at sea.
States police are now working with West Mercia Police to establish Mr Hudson’s whereabouts.
Acting Detective Inspector Steve Langford said:
‘It is a bit of a mystery at this stage. ‘We simply don’t know how the jetski arrived in Jersey or whether Mr Hudson is in the Island or elsewhere.’

1st December : Robbie Hunts Aliens On Jet Ski.
Wacky flying saucer hunter Robbie Williams is set to go looking for Unidentified Submerged Objects instead.
Tired of scanning the skies for UFOs, the 34-year-old is now planning to look for aliens beneath the waves.
The LA-based Angels star will hire jet skis and go on a 35-mile trip with his mates to spot sea-dwelling extra-terrestrials.
The journey will take him from an LA marina to the island of Santa Catalina off the California coast.
He admits he concocted the scheme after hearing UFO nuts had reported sightings near Malibu of USOs – the official term for water-borne phenomena.
Robbie said: “This is mental but I don’t care. We are renting some jet skis and we are going to go from Marina Del Rey to Catalina.
“I heard about these sightings at Malibu of things going into the water. I thought it would be quite exciting to be on a very small object very high over the ocean floor knowing there might be something down there.”
Robbie announced his plan to bosses at the  abovetopsecret.com website, to which he is a frequent visitor.
In a taped interview with girlfriend Ayda Field, he blames his family background for encouraging him to believe in aliens and the paranormal.
He says: “I was raised in a house where my mum was very much into Tarot cards.
“She did readings and consulted psychics. I’ve been around all kinds of myths and legends.
“I’ve been actively encouraged to indulge in this kind of stuff and I’ve been interested in it for a very long time.”
Robbie, who is rumoured to be rejoining Take That for a full reunion next year, now hopes to persuade millions of fans that aliens exist by posting dozens of YouTube clips of UFO footage on his official website.
And he already has one convert to his cause – Ayda, 29, who says she has been convinced the truth IS out there.
She said: “Rob really is an inspirational person. I didn’t know much about this field before I met him but I’m blown away by all of the stuff that he’s shown me.
“It has changed my perspective on the world. Once you’re exposed to it, it’s impossible to go back to thinking about things in the same way.”
