Colwyn Jetski Club
Recognised by the Conwy County Borough Council and the Local Harbour Authority, the Colwyn Jetski Club was formed in November 1996 and meet at the Eirias Park Slipway in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. The clubs 150 members have exclusive access to the slip on Sundays and bank holidays till midday and also benefit from a reduced annual launching permit fee as well as free parking and discounts with a local water sports dealer. Colwyn Jetski Club is an RYA Training Centre and activities include junior water safety courses and fun runs.

Cornwall Jetski Club
Established in 2004 with the aim of increasing the awareness, enjoyment and safety of Personal Watercraft users in Cornwall. The growing club launches countywide but has exclusive Personal Watercraft access to the Hayle Harbour launch site.
Launch: Countywide plus exclusive PWC access at Hayle harbour.
Activities: Coastal Runs. Wave Jumping.
Benefits: Unlimited launching from Hayle, peace of mind that the sport is being promoted well and that any restrictions are being removed slowly but surely.

Clacton Watercraft Club
Martello bay, Clacton-on-Sea has been used for the launching of personal watercraft for many years. In 2003 Tendering District Council announced a scheme to close all local slipways or access to slipways as they found it impossible to police the watersport areas effectively due to a small minority of irresponsible users. Gary Slater, current Chairman of Clacton Watercraft Club (CWC) approached the Council and with much negotiation it was agreed that a club could be formed to regulate the slipway and craft using Martello Bay. CWC has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a Members Car Park, Club Tractor for launching and discounts from several local retailers and suppliers.
Launch: Martello Bay Slipway, Clacton on Sea.
Activities: Open to members with any type of craft, organised events and runs over the year.
Benefits: Use of club tractor for launch and recovery, Members only car park adjacent to slip. Member discounts from local retailers and suppliers.

Herne Bay and Whitstable Jetski and Watercraft Society (JAWS)
J.A.W.S are a group of sea sport enthusiasts dedicated to having safe and responsible fun off the Kent coastline between Whitstable and Reculver. Since their beginning in 2003 the club has established a very good relationship with Canterbury City Council and the foreshore team. Membership of Jaws will help to keep this area of water open and ensure a safe environment for future users.
Launch: Herne Bay, Neptune and Hampton Slips.
Activities: BBQ’s, Charity events, Jetski cruises.

Loch Lomond Personal Watercraft Association
The Loch Lomond Personal Watercraft Association was formed earlier this year in response to the proposed extension of a 7mph speed limit, which could effectively result in a PWC ban on over one third of Loch Lomond. The LLPWA was established to provide a voice within the bylaw review process as well as a means to socialising the sport of Jetskiing. Meaningful discussions have already taken place and as the club grows rapidly their voice in the process gets louder.

Monkstone Jetski & Personal Watercraft Club
In 2000 several families who launched out of Monkstone, Johnny’s Cove and Amroth beaches got together and formed a club. Five years on and through no fault of their own launching has been banned at Amroth. The club along with the PWP and RYA hope to reverse this decision so future watercraft owners can regain access in this area. Although not launching at their local spot club activities still go on.

Mudeford Personal Watercraft Club
Mudeford Personal Watercraft club is based on the south coast of England at Mudeford Quay in Christchurch Harbour. Formed in 1999, they meet every weekend throughout the year (weather permitting). Launching from Mudeford gives easy access to either the Hampshire or Dorset coastlines for cruises or the local sandy beaches provide a great location for the regular summer fundays.

Activities: water-skiing, wakeboarding, ringo riding, Local cruises and Mudeford Awaydays.

Mumbles Jetski Club
Mumbles Jetski Club is another classic example where PWC enthusiasts stepped up to prevent the closure of a slipway. In 2004 Swansea Council had planned to close the Knab Rock Slipway permanently as an answer to the problem of irresponsible users. A group of locals persuaded the officials to pass the management to them and the closure has been reprieved. The non-profit club welcomes responsible Jetski and Powerboat owners.

Activities: Meet every Sunday for a run (winter every other Sunday), summer fun days with BBQ’s and Music. The club has a vast range of water toys from skis to the largest banana in the bay for member’s use and there are organized trips all year from skiing to canoeing.

Costs: Full membership per year £90.00 per member, Day pass £15.00 per day per ski. Third party insurance and a RYA certificate are mandatory.

Poole Personal Watercraft Club
Poole PW Club was formed in late 2003 by a group of PW enthusiasts in conjunction with Poole Harbour Commission. Based on the South coast Riviera of Poole they have easy access to the PW area in the harbour and the scenic sea and beaches around the Dorset coast.

Ripon Jet Ski Club
RJSC Was formed around 1997 and is located within the grounds of Ripon racecourse. The club is run by Jet Ski enthusiasts who love the sport and who want to have fun within a safe environment. The lake is 28 acres and members have access to 2 launch ramps with keys to gates. The lake is available for use all year round. New members are always welcome although places are limited. Solent Skiers Association
The Solent Skiers Association (SSA) launch from the Daedalus Slipway at Lee-on-the-Solent on the South coast of England. The aims of the SSA are to promote the responsible use of PWC and to encourage safe fun on the Solent. SSA members get together all year round for cruises and meets in and around the Solent area. Favourite trips include runs to locations on the Isle of Wight: Ryde, Sandown, Yarmouth and the Needles. So why not buddy up and join the fun!
Launch: Daedalus Slipway, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire.
Activities: Cruises, family fun days and barbeques. Off water events e.g.Ten Pin Bowling and Go-Karting and regular social meets.

South Wales Jetski Club
A little about the club- The club was founded in 1996, by a group of Jetski enthusiasts with a passion of the sport. A Committee was formed and a non-profit organisation was setup. South Wales Jetski Club is run by its dedicated members who donate their time and energy to maintain and run the club. New members are always welcome.
The club has successfully operated for 10 years. We lease a 20 acre freshwater lake which is part of Port Talbot Harbour. The lake is heated by cooling water from the nearby steelworks and has a concrete slipway with adjacent car park.
Club members are all issued with their own keys and have 24 hour access to the facilities which include changing rooms and toilets. A buoyed course is set out around the lake and two areas are dedicated to freestyle use.

Tayjet Personal Watercraft Club
The Tayjet Personal Watercraft Club was formed by a group of PWC enthusiasts who regularly launch from the Broughty Ferry Slipways onto the River Tay at Dundee. They are a non-profit making club and believe that all monies taken should be re-invested for the benefit of the Jet Skiing fraternity around Tayside. Tayjet has and will continue to work closely with both the Dundee District Council and the Broughty Ferry Community Council for the benefit of its members and other visitors to and users of the River Tay.

West Cumbria Watercraft Club

West Cumbria Watercraft Club has been set up to promote the safe use of Personal Watercraft in the West Cumbria Area. They are recognised by the local authorities for their encouragement in respects of watercraft safety at the St Bees Lifeboat station and Whitehaven Marina slipways they launch from.
