| Clacton
Watercraft Club |

Martello
bay, Clacton-on-Sea has been used for the launching of personal
watercraft for many years. In 2003 Tendering District Council
announced a scheme to close all local slipways or access to slipways
as they found it impossible to police the watersport areas effectively
due to a small minority of irresponsible users.
Gary
Slater, current Chairman of Clacton Watercraft Club (CWC) approached
the Council and with much negotiation it was agreed that a club could
be formed to regulate the slipway and craft using Martello Bay. CWC
has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a Members Car Park,

| Loch
Lomond Personal Watercraft Association |
|
The Loch
Lomond Personal Watercraft Association was formed earlier this year in
response to the proposed extension of a 7mph speed limit, which could
effectively result in a PWC ban on over one third of Loch Lomond. The

process as well as a means to socialising the sport of Jetskiing.
Meaningful discussions have already taken place and as the club grows
