28th May : Russells Personal Watercraft Support Needed
Russells Personal Watercraft have put in a planning application for 4 lakes at Wollaston, Northamptonshire to use for PWC and Quad bikes amongst other activities such as windsurfing, sailing and canoeing. There is currently opposition from nearby birdwatchers and some local residents. If you want bigger and better lakes and improved facilities they need your support.
Your support holds more weight and effect than anyone else's, as many of you will know RPW have always operated a very safe and fun venue and with your help they can achieve the same again.
Write to the address given below with your support for the plans saying why you think it would be a good idea and why you want the lakes to be given your full support.
We do not affect the wildlife. Personal Watercraft omits a lower noise reading than ever before. The sport of Personal Watercraft is one of the safest watersport’s that exists. The sport is fun for all the family and more families are becoming involved every year making it a sport for everyone, not just the parents. We are backed by the PWP and by the RYA. These are just a few facts about the sport which you may think about when writing to the council.
Please send your letters of support to:
