16th July : Solent Skiers and Club Bombardier Charity Cruise

Over 50 PWC from Solent Skiers Association and Club Bombardier joined forces Sunday 13th July for a charity cruise around the Isle of Wight in order to raise money for the RNLI and Inshore Rescue.

With some of the participants alone raising sponsorship in the hundreds of pounds the final figure could be well into the thousands!

There is still a chance for you to assist in raising money as there is an auction for various wetsuits happening right now on the Solent Skiers Forum. Items include wetsuits and security equipment.

15th July : Armed Carjackers Target PWC

Armed carjackers are being hunted by police after they flagged down a daytripper returning from the south coast before stealing his car and jet-ski.

14th July : Clacton Watercraft Club

The Recently formed Clacton Watercraft Club got together yesterday to introduce themselves to Jetskier Magazine. The 60 plus members were joined by Kevin Marsden from the Leisure Services department of the local council and representatives from the Coastguard, Burnham Marine Unit and community police.

Glorious sunshine and packed beaches were the backdrop as the Club took to the water accompanied by the Police Launch to cruise the local area and take part in a photo shoot for next months edition of Jetskier and Personal Watercraft magazine.

Anyone interested in joining the Club can contact Gary Slater for further information.

A big thankyou to Clacton Watercraft Club for their hospitality and great day out.

12th July : Tayjet Dundee To Perth Run

Tayjet are holding their annual Perth Run Event on the 10th August to raise funds for the RNLI.

Everyone is invited, there is no charge for the event, however donations for the cause would be gratefully accepted.

The run from Broughty Ferry Dundee up the River Tay to Perth and back is approximately 26 miles each way.

8th July : Xtreme Action Weekend Latest
There are only a few places left for the Freestyle Clinic on 6/7th September. Anyone interested in skiing with Eric Malone, World Freestyle Champion, call 01526 344758 for an application form.
The National Pro Am Slalom Championships This is a turn up and ride event on the two S1 Slalom courses so no booking is necessary. Registration will take place from 9am Saturday.
