| 25th January : Beaulieu Boat Boot Sale |
| Beaulieu has announced the dates of the 2003 International BoatJumble and BoatMart, probably the biggest event of its kind in the UK. Last year the event attracted nearly 12,000 visitors and the event this year will take place on Sunday 27th April in 2003. |
| There will be over 800 stands packed with boating bargains galore to satisfy every conceivable nautical requirement; from chandlery and engines to tools and anchors. There is also the BoatWorld display where the very latest trailerable boats, accessories and services are for sale. |

Under'. The Surfster is a new Surf product to come from Australia,
an inflatable body board it went on sale in late 2002 and sold

| 19th January : Freestyle National Tour 2003 Dates | ||
| The dates and almost all venues are set for first Freestyle National Tour. At each round entrants will have use of the water both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday there will be an amateur competition and on Sunday a Pro-am competition. There will be trophies and most of the entry fee will be given back as prize money. The aim of the tour is to encourage owners of all jet ski's and personal water craft to meet and compete together. Saturday night is Party night, With a few drinks and a BBQ, talk "freestyle". The entry fee for the Freestyle National Tour will be £35 inclusive of the weekend skiing, with free technical tips. B-B-Q and party night. Camping will be available if required and to finish the year there will be trophies for both amateur and pro-am champions for 2003 | ||
